"I just love to soak up all the attention I can get," says McKayla to her mommy. This is what I think she would say if she could talk right now. It sure would be nice though if babies could just talk from the beginning. We know that’s not possible right now, though lately she’s been making sounds that seem like she is saying “hi”! I have read that babies will try to imitate sounds or words they hear all the time and we sure do say that to her a lot. Maybe hi will be her first word?
Whenever McKayla is in her swing and nobody is paying attention to her she will just sit there and stare at the fish mobile or just stare into the room. But as soon as you walk into the room or just call her name, she lights up and starts giggling or smiles. She really knows how to steal all the attention her way!We just can't believe how much she has changed over these past five months. It only seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She seemed so little and didn't really fit into any of her newborn clothes and she hated her diaper being changed. Now she has grown into her 3-6 months clothes, but it’s still just as hard to change her diaper! She always tries to get anything that is behind her when you are changing her. This has not made it easy to get her changed quickly. I have to keep her distracted with something that she can put in her mouth since everything has to go there now.
McKayla really seems to be teething lately. She is putting everything into her mouth and always drooling. Who knows, she might sprout a tooth tomorrow? But we do have to say she has been a real trouper and hasn't been super fussy so far. Hope that this will stay true with all her teeth.

Way to go McKayla, make sure you keep that control!!! McKayla is so precious and smart. Thanks for sharing her growing with us.
I like your logo, I think MK-Design.org will be good. You want to stay away from .us extensions because they are now associated with other countries.
She is growing so quickly! She has been sitting up all by herself with minimal help lately. You sure are going to have a handful when she grows up :) The girls love her and Sammy has become a really "big helper" and loves the "thank you's" that she gets every time.
