BLock Letters

I recently went to an enrichment night with my friend Katie at her church were we made block letters and jewelry. It was so much fun spending an evening making crafts. Here are the block letters that I made to spell McKayla.

Check Out My Make-up and Hair

Well yes McKayla got in to my make-up bag the other day while I was taking a shower. I finished and came to see why she was so quite. I found her nicely playing with my make-up bag were she put massacre on her face and was trying to use my powders and lip gloss. It was too funny how she looked so I quickly took so photos and here they are.





The other day when we got to her sitters house, Cristeen was doing Sammy's hair and of course McKayla wanted hers done too. She quickly said, "TT pretty please do my hair too?" So she sat still, for the most part, for Cristeen to do two rows of 6 pigs and it sure was cute. Here are some of the cute photos of her hair.

Valentines' Day Card

This year I decided to make our Valentines' Day cards, but only was able to make four. Next time I'll give myself more time, if I'm going to sew them by hand. Here is how it turned out.

My Best Friends

McKayla and our dog Sherman are like best friends. She is always following him around and trying to get him to do what she wants. From putting his leash on, to just pulling him around our house, and having him sit or self by her. It's kinda a love hate relationship, because one minute she wants him and the next he is sitting in her stop even though she wasn't sitting there. Anyway the love each other and he sure puts up with alot and doesn't seem to mind. Here are a few pictures of them together.





Well we have also recently added a new member to our family, a bunny. Derek brought it home from the Humane Society and his name is Oreo and he is a year old. And well McKayla just loves him, always asking to play with her bunny. He lives in his cage in our laundry room and often comes out to play, but is not the easiest to catch always hiding behind the couch. He even uses Shermans cage sometimes, just hops right in. Here are a few photos of our new bunny.

Getting to Big

Yes McKayla is getting to big too quick. This past weekend McKayla went to her very first friends sleep over with Sammy and Kylee. For weeks Sammy has been asking me often when I pick McKayla up from Cristeens house if McKayla can spend the night. I would say if McKayla wants to and you need to ask your mom first. I'm not sure if McKayla even knew what a sleep over was because she would say she has already had one with Sammy. So finally on Kylee's birthday 2/13 we decided we would try it out and see if she could make it all night. That day I brought with her to Cristeen's house her pj's, night light and blanket and she was all set. I was set to have to come pick her up in the middle of the night, but no she was a real trooper and stayed all night. The girls had so much fun, they eat KFC and watched Madagascar 2. She did call to say hi and say she was having fun, but only talked for a sec before back to playing. I picked her up the next morning in time for class. Both girls had so much fun that we will defiantly do this again sometime soon. My little girl is getting so big and surprising me all the time with the new accomplishment that she does.

Dressing Myself

Yes it has started McKayla now really enjoys doing everything by herself and wants to pick her own clothes out and dress her self. So far she has pick some very creative outfits, usually consisting of more than one shirt or two. She gets so excited when I tell her she can pick out what she wants to wear and dress her self, she says "Really Mommy all by myself and not you". It's just too cute to see her face light up for something simple as that. It amazes me to see how she is getting so big and way to fast. Sometimes it hard not to just try and help her so we can get moving faster, but she is so persistent and will not give up. So here are some photos of her in one of her outfits.

Speed World Race

Racing season is off to a good start with Daryl taking 9th and Derek taking 11th. We went to the Speed World race the first race of the new season in Arizona. Even though we got there a little late we still got to see them and had a good time. After the race went for dinner and then enjoyed some fun time playing the Wii and Wii fit game. Snow Shoeing

Since McKayla had such a good time sledding and we are eager to get her in to skiing. We decided to try snow shoeing out and see how she does. Well she had a blast, we went to the local park/soccer field and hiked across to the play park. She did pretty good only falling a few times to then just play in the snow. We made it to the play park in which she so proudly said look at me I made it. Here are some photos of our fun.

Sled Riding
